Description

Hello again, and forgive the poor quality I made this using Microsoft Excel and this was the result. Anyway, many of you people are wondering what effect does the IZM stated in each character's bio have in the actual gameplay? Well I decided to make this guide and give you a visual representation of an fight pad demonstrating the games controls.

Yellow arrows around the control stick (Left Control Stick for XBOX-360 and PS3): 3D Movement when the stick is moved slightly towards the respectful direction
Blue arrows around the control stick (Directional pads for XBOX-360 and PS3): 2D Movement when the stick is moved completely towards the respectful direction

Four of the attack buttons vary depending on the character's IZM or control style. The format of this section is as follows
Attack Button: T-IZM command, SC-IZM command, DOA-IZM command, VF-IZM command, SF-IZM command, BB-IZM command
Alpha Button (Square for PS3/X for XBOX-360): Left Punch, Horizontal Strike, Punch, Punch, Light to Medium Punch, Quick Attack
Beta Button (X for PS3/A for XBOX-360): Left Kick, Special Action, Hold, Special Action, Light to Medium Kick, Drive Attack
Gamma Button (Triangle for PS3/Y for XBOX-360): Right Punch, Vertical Strike, Kick, Kick, Heavy to Launcher Punch, Medium Attack
Delta Button (Circle for PS3/B for XBOX-360): Right Kick, Kick, Throw, Throw, Heavy to Launcher Kick, Strong Attack

NOTE: Pressing all four of these buttons at the same time will trigger an Overdrive or invoke a Break Burst which instantly depletes the Burst Gauge when used.

The last two attack buttons vary depending on the character and their equipped weapon can utilize.

Sword Button (L1 for PS3/Left Shoulder for XBOX-360): Photon Arts and Charged Strikes
Shield Button (R1 for PS3/Right Shoulder for XBOX-360): Barrier Guard and Barrier Impact

WARNING!: Wasting Photon Energy for offense will just cause the PE gauge to recharge, but abusing Photon Energy for defensive purposes will result the abuser to enter a Danger State until the Photon Energy gauge is completely refilled.

The two team buttons above the attack buttons are used to call for an assist from a teammate (Assist Button (R2 for PS3/Right Trigger for XBOX-360)) or to invoke a Snap Back (kicking a character out for five seconds before he/she can be called again) call for Exchange Attacks or Team Rave Combos (Exchange Button (L2 for PS3/Left Trigger for XBOX-360)).

And finally the S button (Select for PS3/Back for XBOX-360) is for taunting the opponent or cause a Rapid Cancel. NOTE: Pressing this button against a CPU opponent will instantly boost your Heat Gauge up to Level 5-Level 9 depending on the number of teammates remaining and their respective Ratio.

Pressing all face buttons simultaneously will trigger an Overdrive (or a Photon Rave if Sword is also pressed) unless the character is caught in a combo. In such defensive situations, a Break Burst (or a Photon Burst if Shield is also pressed) will be triggered instead of an Overdrive. But if all face buttons are held for 3 seconds, then the character will enter the Blood Rage State.

That's all for this guide, thanks to everyone who's faved the character bios prior to the release of this guide. And once again, COMMENT BEFORE YOU FAV OR DOWNLOAD THIS!!!!!!

EDIT: The button scheme has now been updated with four more buttons that represent the Right Stick Movements

During multiplayer gameplay (online or off), I would suggest having to hold Start to pause like in SkullGirls (as in tournaments, accidentally pausing the game is considered grounds for disqualification) and being able to perform a button check in the character select screen (speaking of, how will character select and stage select work?) like in the console versions of Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown (as in tournaments, disrupting the game just because your buttons are off is frowned upon).
